State duties for issuing transit and entry visas to the Republic of Azerbaijan for foreigners and stateless persons have been decreased

       In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No.291-VQD approved by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 14 2016, Articles 16.1.8, 16.1.9 and 17.8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Duties” have been repealed and Article 16.1.6 has been amended. In accordance with the mentioned changes, the following state duties are applied to issue entry and transit visas to the Republic of Azerbaijan for foreigners and stateless persons:

-       Transit visas and single entry visas 20 US dollars.

      In accordance with the Article 4.8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Duties”, if the differences are identified between the provisions of this Law, as well as normative-legal acts adopted in accordance with this Law and provisions of the international contracts the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party to, the provisions of those international contracts shall be applied.
